Key Learning Objectives:

1. Understanding the Finnish job market: Participants will gain insights into the Finnish job market, including industry salary levels and labor regulations related to salary. This knowledge will help them set realistic expectations. and make informed decisions during salary negotiations.
2. Developing negotiation skills: The training focuses on cultivating effective negotiation techniques and strategies specific to the Finnish context. Participants will learn to articulate their value proposition, identify and leverage their strengths and contribution to the organization, and communicate confidently during salary discussions.
3. Researching salary benchmarks: Participants will get salary benchmarks in different industries in Finland and learn how to use Loimu’s salary info. This knowledge will empower them to negotiate based on market value, ensuring fair compensation for their skills and experience.
4. Handling the negotiations: Negotiating salary often involves handling counteroffers from employers. Negotiations can also end up in refusal of the asked salary level. The participants learn how to proceed from setbacks.
